Jan 26 Healing Session
An excerpt from my healing sessions with a local Reiki-healer and spiritual guide. We begin with a Reiki session and then I do a guided meditation with her. We see where it will take us each time.
I went to a visualization of being in a large white building. A person met me at the door to take me to this grand room down the hall. It was my paternal grandmother. The room was filled with spirit guides. I sat at a table across from a wise man with kind eyes, who held my hands in his. I asked him these questions:
What can I do to make my body strong again? The answer I got was, “Follow your path.”
What is the vision of this path? I answered, “The light is within me.”
What am I learning from the path that I am on right now? “Learning about compassion for others and hope”
Are there any messages for me? “Give thanks for what you have. Forget the past. There are many messages from above.”
Then I went down the hallway to a special healing room. As I opened the door I found I was in the sky and stepped onto a cloud that had a staircase descending down throuugh it. It is very bright there.
From there I went to a past life. I was a young woman, 25-30, with long, blonde, curly hair and a long flowing dress made of something heavy like velvet. I was in a beautiful place that made me feel happy and comfortable, it was beside a lake with a small waterfall going into it, with large, green grassy hills beyond, far from the dirty cities. I was singing to myself in Gaelic. In this lifetime I cared for my ageing mother, who was going blind. We lived in a little stone cottage with a grassy roof. I had brothers but they had gone away to fight in a war or something. My father had died in a mine. I had brought some of the lovely water from the waterfall to my mother. When asked if the soul of my mother was anyone I currently knew, it was Madeline, my youngest daughter.
What am I to learn from that lifetime taking care of my mother? I replied, “That life is a gift, you have to fight hard to believe in it, as hard as you can.”
She said, “I will come back as Madeline, it will be a strong connection.” Then I asked her, why do you want to come back as my daughter? “To show me the way.”
Ten years later My mother died of emphaesema. I was not alone at her bedside, I was with a brother or maybe a husband. Six months after that I am living in a house in a village with a husband; he is not there much, he travels. He is tall and slender with brown hair in a ponytail. In this lifetime it was my Uncle Tom. When asked, he said there was no special reason for his presence. Because he was away a lot, it taught me:
“To be strong on my own and fight for my rights.”
Then we did a different visualization, where I was surrounded in the room by spirit guides. At my feet a guide held up a sign, it read,
“STOP, Do not listen to yourself” I take this to mean my negative mind. On my right the guide handed me a present, it was a crystal bell. The guide on my left gave me something for my body, an evergreen branch. It is for me to go into the forest, find peace, contentment and beauty.

I love this one so much! You told me about it but not so in depth. I feel a strong connection with this place that you describe and this life you’ve lived. Keep on writing Spleen! It’s not only therapeutic for you but for all of us who read it.
