Despite this pesky ALS, I have so much to be thankful for; an incredible and loving husband, two beautiful and intelligent girls, a vast network of caring friends and extended family, a house in one of the most beautiful places on earth, a great community for my children to grow up in, the list is long. I am also incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to stay with family on beautiful Gabriola Island. Here is inspiration for a painting I hope to work on soon:
